Exchange Policy
While we can replace damaged or defective merchandise, we can't exchange one item for another item. In order to get exactly what you want as quickly as possible, simply obtain an RMA number to return the unwanted item for a refund and place a new order for the item you want. When your RMA is received and has completed our return process (please allow 14-21 business days), you will see a credit for the product reflected onto your original credit card statement. Laptopsforless.com must receive payment for all merchandise prior to shipping any items. If you have chosen to place a new order, a temporary duplicate charge will be placed on your credit card until the returned merchandise has been received and processed by our warehouse. Return Policy Should you decide that you would like to return the product you ordered, we will accept requests for credit back to the original credit card up to 15 days of the receipt of the item, less any and shipping and handling fees you have paid. . If you are receiving a credit to your credit card, please allow 1 billing cycle for the credit to appear on your statement.
Store Credit
Laptopsforless will automatically issue store credit for approved returned items that are after our 15 day return policy and up to 90 days of your purchase. Please note that store credits expire after 90 days of the return of goods and are non-transferable. If you do not use your store credit, within the allotted time, the store credit will be removed from our records and you will not be able to redeem the credit. Please be aware that store credits are for the original purchase price of the item and exclude all shipping charges along with any duties and taxes that may have been incurred. When you are ready to use your store credit, please contact one of our customer service agents at toll free 800-556-4490.
Warranty Replacements
If your product is defective, you may qualify for a warranty replacement of the item. Upon receiving your warranty replacement, please allow 14-21 business days to process your warranty replacement. Once the item goes though our team of inspectors, we will ship your replacement item to you via FedEx Ground (unless you are within 15 days of receipt of the item, then we will replace the item using the same shipping method originally purchased by you). If you would like to pay for expedited shipping on your warranty replacement, please contact us at toll free 800-556-4490 and a customer service agent will be happy to assist you. Please note that warranty replacement only covers the actual defective item and not any additional charges paid by the customer such as shipping or duties and taxes. If you do not wish to wait the 14-21 business days to replace a defective item, you may choose to place a new order. A temporary duplicate charge will be placed on your credit card until the returned merchandise has been received and processed by our warehouse. Laptopsforless.com must receive payment for all merchandise prior to shipping any items.
Warranty Restrictions
Defective items, such as batteries and AC Adapters may be returned for replacement up to 1 year after the purchase date. Projector and television lamps have a 90 day warranty replacement guarantee. All sales are final for close out or clearance items.
Mis-shipped Orders
On the rare occasion that you receive a product that you did not order, please notify Laptopsforless within the first 15 days of the receipt of your package. Once we have determined that you have indeed been shipped the incorrect item, we will re-ship you the correct item that you did order. We will re-ship the correct item using the same shipping method of your original purchase. We will also make arrangements for FedEx to pick up the mis-shipped order, and return it to us. FedEx will make three (3) attempts to pickup the package. If the package is not picked up within the three (3) attempts, the service will be cancelled and it will then become your responsibly to return the incorrect item back to us at your expense. We must receive the incorrect item back within 10 business days. If we do not receive the incorrect items back within 10 business days, we will have to charge your supplied credit card for the mis-shipped item.
How to Obtain an RMA
To obtain an RMA number please contact one of our customer service agents toll free at 800-556-4490, Monday through Friday, 6:00am - 5:00pm PST. After speaking with one of our agents, you will be given an RMA number along with instructions on returning your order. Please follow the instructions given. Any packages received without prior return authorization will be refused back to the shipper. All RMA numbers will expire after 30 days of issuance. If your product is not received within 30 days of issuance, the RMA number will expire and you will not qualify for another RMA number. Please be sure to write your RMA number in ink clearly on the outside of your package in an area that will not be hidden by a shipping label. Incorrect RMA numbers will result in a slower processing time. Laptopsforless.com recommends that you return your unwanted product via FedEx, UPS, DHL or USPS Certified, Return Receipt so that you will be able to verify the delivery of your return if necessary. You will be responsible for all shipping and insurance charges for returns, unless otherwise indicated. If you choose not to insure your package, and we do not accept return of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage.
